Congratulations to Sunnyvale Inferno, led by coaches Tom De Franco and James Noe, on taking 1st Place in the President's cup last weekend!

Our Area's first ever Section 2 Tournament champion! U12G Sunnyvale Chaos coached by Jim Noe defeated the PHMSA Green Grenades 1-0 and the San Bruno Purple Ninjas 3-0 on Saturday. Sunday they withstood a wide open 8 yard shot with a minute left to preserve a 0-0 tie against the Foster City FC Crushers which advanced them to the championship game. They defeated the Blue Thunder from Fallon 1-0 in a tightly contested match en-route to the championship and a berth in the California Cup being held next March in Davis.

Congratulations to our U12G team Chaos on winning first place at the Area Tournament! They will move on to play in the Section Tournament on Dec 8-9. Wish them luck!
